PUBLISHING SCHEDULE

The student newspaper is produced at least twice each term.

PRINT SPECIFICATIONS

Print ads should be sent camera ready in one of the following file formats: High resolution (low res images taken from the web will be rejected) .pdf, .tif, .eps, .jpg. or .psd.

WEB SPECIFICATIONS

Online ads must be received web ready in the following formats with a maximum files size of 60K and must be accompanied by a click through url or include contact telephone or postal address on the ad: Web ready .jpg, .gif, .swf. Tower Box ads not permitted on home page.

ADVERTISING RATES

Discounts will be available for multiple insertions paid in advance. All ads will appear on website until following print publication date unless otherwise requested at time of insertion. Partial page ads are only available in four color when space is available.*

INSERTIONS

Please submit your ad via regular post on cd, dvd or via email along with telephone and postal contact information. We will respond to confirm receipt and confirm that your art meets our specifications. Provide a color print out of art to ensure publication quality. We will provide tear sheet verification once print edition is published.

If your material is time sensitive, please let us know. The publication of the Gold Torch is dependent on class schedules and publication dates may vary. Web ads will appear on website until next publication unless otherwise requested at time of insertion.

PAYMENT

Payment should be received before ad is scheduled to be published. Provide check or money order (cash will not be accepted) in the appropriate amount. Ad space availability is limited, so please make ad reservations as soon as you are able.

The Gold Torch reserves the right to refuse any advertisement. The Gold Torch does not accept advertising for alcohol, firearms, tobacco products or ads which may contain offensive graphic images.
